- NISA Summer Session 2016
On 8 May of 2015, NISA set up a regional workshop in Barda with support of the Embassy of Romania to Baku, Azerbaijan. The workshop was exclusively designed for a regional audience in Barda, bringing together students, graduates and early-mid career professionals from governmental institutions. The workshop was commenced with a lecture by the Ambassador and enriched with a simulation game enabling participants to represent numerous governments and international institutions.

NISA is a non-governmental organization registered in 2007. NISA establishes biannual sessions since its inception in 2003. NISA alumni geographically vary across the globe. Its sessions cover different and timely topics, such as Cyber Security, Financial Security, New era of unconventional threats, Security Implication of Arab Spring and Eastern Partnership. Both, local and overseas students participate in NISA summer and winter sessions. Notwithstanding the great number of applications to the NISA sessions, each application is meticulously evaluated. Apart from that NISA sets up a regional training, a senior conference, regular workshops and seminars to raise awareness on Euro-Atlantic security and integration.
